This month, Versace debuts Yellow Diamond, its latest women’s fragrance in Europe. Alberto Morillas of Firmenich developed the floral-fruity-woody scent, which is yellow in color and is comprised of pear sorbet, neroli, bergamot, and citron from diamante head. The heart of the scent is nymphaea, freesia, orange blossom, mimosa and the drydown is amber wood, palo santo and musk.

The bottle mirrors the crystal design of previous fragrances Crystal Noir (2004) and Bright Crystal (2006). The cap is brilliant yellow and baroque ornaments decorate the fanciful box. After the September European launch in the scent is expected to debut in the US in in January — just in time for Valentine’s Day.
